Gianfranco Gualdierotti

Born in Rome in 1944 and based in Pistoia, Tuscany, he developed a deep technical knowledge and a an extensive research on materials, starting with those on poliurethane in cooperation with Permaflex in the late ’60s up to those on airplane seats (from DC-9 and DC-10 to the Airbus).

He cooperated with prestigious architectural practices such as Natalini, Toraldo di Francia and Piva, and won important design awards in Italy and abroad.

Main cooperations besides Fasem: Zanotta, Cassina, Edra, Dema.
