Born in Florence in 1938, architect and designer, Branzi is considered one of the Masters of the Italian design and in 1987 he was offered a Compasso D’Oro award for the career. He is also a professor at the Politecnico of Milan, co-founder of Archizoom Associati and Domus Academy, author of a number of books and curator of relevant design exhibitions.

Products designed by him are on display in the most important museum in the world.
